Saunf or Saunf or Fennel seeds are the dried seeds of the Fennel plant. They are about 4-8 mm long and resemble a scored or furrowed grain of rice. Saunf comes in hues running from brilliant green to light green and tan and has a licorice-like taste – sweeter and somewhat less sharp and exceptional than licorice.
